This area of outstanding natural beauty is a delight to visit with its charming and picturesque honey coloured stone cottages, village greens and traditional pubs. Wonderful landscapes abound with undulating hills, containing hidden valleys with streams and woodland to explore.

There are many market towns with a wonderful selection of shops for you to browse, including antique, art, gift and book shops, delightful tea shops, restaurants and hotels offering excellent food.

Sporting activities are available locally and include golf, horse riding, cycling (cycles for hire), quad biking, paint balling and clay shooting.
