Cottage in the Cotswolds: Meadowbrook Cottage, Blockley
Sleeps 6 : Property No: C077
Meadowbrook Cottage is situated in the historical Cotswold village of Blockley within the oldest part of the village and just yards from Dovedale woods, a local haven for wildlife and wonderful walking.
One of a small terrace of golden, honey coloured stone cottages, Meadowbrook was originally two cottages and has been beautifully refurbished into one very attractive property. The cottage is full of character with a log burner in the living room set into a Cotswold stone fireplace, original exposed timbers and some exposed Cotswold stone. Ideal for a family or group of friends, the cottage has a south facing aspect and looks towards a meadow from most windows. Just beyond the boundary of the garden is a bubbling brook (young children will require supervision) and together with the song of many species of wild birds makes a relaxing sound. An old coaching inn serving meals is a 15 minute walk away from the cottage along the meandering and attractive High Street. An absolutely delightful property in a very special area.
